Rainy Day in Miami?

     Don't you find it so ironic that as you commute to work all week long, its absolutely gorgeous out, blue skies, light breeze, a few cotton candy clouds scattered about, you even hear a few caws from birds flying by as your sitting in traffic, yet when the weekend hits and we are all ready to switch out of our business suits and into our bathing suits... it decides to rain!

Well dont let the weather rain on your parade. There are are still plenty of things to do in Miami, doesn't matter if you reside here or your visiting....something on this list should grab your fancy.

Wolfsonian Museum - If you have never been here before, this is the perfect opportunity.  This museum exhibits a collection of propaganda art that includes furniture, paintings, books, prints, industrial and decorative art objects. Admission is free after 6pm on Friday.

Miami Children's Museum - Having a 5 year old myself, I know how hard it is to keep your little one cooped up all weekend. Creatively educating everyone in such a captivating way, this place is a great experience for both child and parent time and time again. Let the fun begin by clicking here

Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts - It's difficult to think of a type of performance that the Arsht Center doesn't offer. From Jazz, opera, ballet, Broadway, children's performances, original productions, cutting-edge theater, flamenco, symphonies, chamber music, stand-up comedy. Find shows going on now.

    

Seminole Hard Rock Casino -  Between Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, this 86-acre resort has a Vegas-like casino offers everything from black jack to poker to live entertainment. 

Miccosukee Casino -  Just 15 minutes west of Miami Airport, Miccosukee Casino is situated along the edge of the Florida Everglades. The Casino has a hotel, and 24-hour-a-day gaming. 

X-treme Indoor Rock Climbing -Feeling restless? Have some energy to burn? With over 14,000 square feet of climbing space, the X-treme indoor climbing center has special obstacles that make it one of the top climbing gyms in the country.

Sawgrass Mills - This massive outlet mall features more than 350 name-brand stores and outlets; full-service restaurants like Cheesecake Factory; cinemas and entertainment venues. With 2.5 million square feet of retail selling space, it is the fourth largest mall in the United States, the largest in Florida, and the largest outlet mall in the world. Get ready to shop till you drop.

On the other hand you can you can simply do one of my most favorite things to do on a rainy day.....and thats simply just staying in, ordering some delicious delivery, cuddling up on the couch and watching a movie. One of my favorite places that deliver is Nexxt Cafe on Lincoln Road- They offer Free delivery & there isn't one thing on their  Menu that isn't anything short of amazing. Then, for those of you that have a sweet tooth,  4D Gelato is an absolute must. This mouthwatering treat will have your toes curled under and taste buds exploding with satisfaction, best of all they will deliver it right to your door. So don't let the rain put a damper on your day, as you can see there are still plenty of options that Miami offers that will still float your boat. As for me.... I am dialing 4D Gelato as I write this =)
